By participating in this event, I've committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.
This cause is deeply personal to me. For a long time, this disease has had an inescapable place in my life; both of my grandmothers passed away from dementia and Alzheimer’s, and my partner's grandmother is currently navigating its late stages. Witnessing the profound heartbreak, pain, and confusion this decline brings to families has driven me to get more involved. I volunteer directly with the Alzheimer’s Association as a Support Group Facilitator for the New York chapter, where I have been inspired by an incredible community of deeply mission-driven individuals. Currently, more than 6 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease, and that number is expected to grow to nearly 13 million by 2050. Our future is at risk, and we must come together to change the course of this disease.

All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs, provide vital resources for families navigating this journey, and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention, and, ultimately, a cure.
