After losing Kim to Alzheimer's, we knew we couldn't just stand by. We wanted to honor Kim's memory in a way that would make a true difference. That's why we have decided to join the fight to end this devastating disease by creating this tribute page in her name.
By taking this step we're raising funds to support the critical work of the Alzheimer's Association: providing care and support for families, advancing promising research and offering a lifeline through their free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900). Every dollar raised helps ensure that no one faces Alzheimer's alone.

Goodbye my dear Kim. It was wonderful to have had you in my life! Somehow I can't access my photos right now, but even without them, I see your beautiful face in my mind's eye - smiling, laughing, glowing, social - and your body strong, as you tried to race against your family history, Planet Fitness being literally your lifeline. Then you began to fade, first slowly, then rapidly. You could not remember my name and your surroundings became strange, depressing, and at times frightening. I was so thankful that you had such a caring group of friends to be there for you. I will miss you, but will always see your glowing face in my mind's eye.
