Dementia may steal memories, but it can’t take love.

I’ve watched it touch people I love, each in their own way, each still shining through. Faces may fade and stories tangle, but the warmth in their eyes remains. I’ve learned that love doesn’t depend on remembering, it simply is.

Even when the world grows dim, their light still shines. Love remembers, even when memory fades.
