Fading Memories Cowl - Drawing #2

The Fading Memories Cowl was designed for the 2025 ALZ Longest Day Campaign. The stitch pattern consists of expanding cables separated ty eyelet lace that represent convoluted memories and lost awareness experienced by those with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia.  80% merino yarn, 10% cashmere yarn and 10% nylon

Goldfish Memory Shawl - Drawing #1

The Goldfish Memory Shawl pattern was created by noted designer Casapinka. Urban legend says a goldfish has the memory or attention span of about 3 seconds. Winchester, VA knitter Scarlet Costello chose this pattern as many Alzheimer's patients have memory issues. The colors used reflect the Alzheimer's Association's logo.  80% merino yarn and 20% silk yarn.   88" by 16" tapering down to a point on each end.
