Beginning the journey
Wednesday 2nd Sep Hey all!So, I'm attempting to raise money for Alzheimer's/Dementia in honor of my Dad and also in memory of Cathy's mom Barbara.
Dad was a a carpenter, store owner, photographer...Basically into many hobbies and a master of none! I've realized over the past few years, I ride that train also. I've gone from crocheting to pottery to miniature houses and fairy houses all within the past two years. I've also gotten into chaos gardening and cycle around all the things I like to do as the mood strikes or ideas hit me in an ADHD craze! Haha!
As I continue to find things I enjoy doing Im also realizing how much my dad has lost over the past few years. He loved to walk in the woods, take pictures of wildlife, build furniture or toys for loved ones. And talk with friends or family. That man could talk!
My idea for Create is for you my friends to donate and by September 30th to have made something by hand. You can crochet a scarf, take a picture, build a shelf, bake cookies, anything! Then on the 30th you can share! Here or on Facebook. Can't wait to see what you make!
