HIKING FUNDRAISER IDEAS
Whether you live near a national park, scenic trail or other recreation area, there are many ways to turn hiking into a fundraiser for Do What You Love to End ALZ™.
as a group
Rally a team, choose a day, time and mountain to conquer and invite friends and family to donate in honor of their efforts.
Competition
Challenge friends and family to a friendly competition to see who can take the most steps and raise the most funds during a period of time.
WEARABLE TAGS
Offer hiking tags for donations that hikers can clip to their backpacks and write the name of a loved one they are honoring.
As a challenge
Create an “Anywhere Team” with several out of state team members who will hike on their own time and raise funds toward the collective goal.
Sponsorship
Contact businesses to sponsor your hike with a donation. Snap a photo with a thank you and their logo at the top of the peak to share on social media.
...and more!
Use your imagination and have fun. To raise funds, you can collect an entry fee when you lead a group adventure, or request a donation per mile hiked — every dollar you raise benefits those affected by Alzheimer's disease.
