Join me for an extra-special happy hour on Thursday, July 9 at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse in Gainesville to support the Alzheimer's Association!
For the eighth year, BJ's Restaurant is an Annual Proud Supporter of the Alzheimer's association and Do What You Love to End ALZ!
As a friend of the Alzheimer's Association and one of my favorite gathering spots in Gainesville, BJ's is the perfect place to have a great time and support a cause close to my heart! BJs of Gainesville is a top fundraiser for ALZ, with management, servers, and amazing bartenders all getting in on the cause!
Not only are they giving a free Pizookie to any customer who donates at least $1 to ALZ at the end of their dine-in or pickup meal from June 25 to July 31, BJs is matching all donations received on Thursdays up to $25,000 during that date range!
So join me on Thursday July 9th, wear purple and celebrate all of the amazing work the Alzheimer's Association is doing in the against this terrible disease and other dementias!

Proud to be working with BJs Gainesville for DWYL in 2026
Thursday 25th Jun
Earlier this month I stopped by BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse in Gainesville to drop off fun swag with assistant manager Darrius Ruff for their fundraising campaign starting June 25th! BJ's Restaurants, Inc., is proud to serve up support to fight Alzheimer's as the 8th Annual Proud Supporter of The Alzheimer's Association and Do What You Love to End ALZ. Darrius was excited for the swag and to start the campaign. In fact, it was Darrius who recruited last year's winning server Joelle to BJs! He brought her with him from their previous restaurant and I'm happy he did - last year Joelle raised the most ALZ donations by an individual server in Florida. You can't see it in the photo but the Central North Florida chapter of ALZ sent her a tiara in the swag bag.
