Inspiring the Next Generation of Brain Health Leaders Alzheimer’s Association – Inaugural Launch: January–March 2026

The Bright Minds Challenge is a 7-week student leadership and fundraising competition designed to engage local high school students in brain health education, Alzheimer’s awareness, and community action.

Students will learn how lifestyle and environmental factors influence brain health and risk for Alzheimer’s and other dementias—empowering them to become advocates for a healthier future.

The inaugural program will run January–March 2026 in partnership with UCI MIND (University of California, Irvine Institute for Memory Impairments and Neurological Disorders) and the Alzheimer’s Association Orange County Chapter.

Over 7 exciting weeks, participants will:
  • Lead a team of peers
  • Raise awareness and funds for families affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia
  • Develop leadership, teamwork, and advocacy skills that will last a lifetime
  • Compete to earn the prestigious Bright Minds Champion title
