More about Charlotte’s Do What You Love to End ALZ Fundraiser:

Originally started in 2015. this event has evolved to include multiple clubs throughout Charlotte. More than 200 players from all over Charlotte join together to play tennis for the Alzheimer’s Association. Together we have raised more than $196,469!

Each club captain has been personally impacted by Alzheimer’s or some form of dementia and advocates for ending Alzheimer’s. Club captains actively recruit players and sponsors for the annual summer event.

Each club event is unique and includes a variety of activities that are specific to their club. As we expand, pickleball and mahjong have been added to select sites.

The event is in cooperation and supported by the Alzheimer’s Association’s campaign, Do What You Love to End ALZ, to honor those impacted by the disease and their caregivers.

On behalf of the more than 7 million Americans living with Alzheimer's disease, thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s. As a National Team for The Do What You Love to End ALZ, we will participate in activities to raise funds and awareness for the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®. Your fundraising and donations will play an important role in improving the lives of people living with Alzheimer's, their families, and caregivers.
