The Cure Requires a Marathon, not a Sprint!

Since 2011, I have been fundraising for the Alzheimer's Association in some form or fashion. My 2026 event will take on a whole new meaning, as my family lost my beautiful younger sister Ann to this horrendous disease in December of 2025. Ann was 63 years old, and her son Anthony is her greatest legacy, but there are so many of us prepared to keep her memory alive and present.

Needless to say, my commitment to being part of the solution to spare others from dealing with this horrendous, debilitating disease will never be stronger than right now. For that reason, I plan to "Walk a Marathon" in Ann's memory. As of this writing, my Walk will occur on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 - that would have been Ann's 64th birthday. As always, there will be lots of pictures and updates that will keep you in the loop. Our Team Captain Jen has already signed on to join me, and pretty sure we can make it a fun, exciting day to honor Ann's fun, exciting memory.

So, stay tuned as I look to conquer 26 (miles) at 66 (years old)!
