Today, on Alzheimer’s Day, I want to share something very close to my heart. 🤍

This fundraiser is in loving memory of my grandma, Adela. While I wish she could be here to see all of the moments that are still ahead of me, I carry her love and her memory with me every step of the way.

In October 2027, I will be getting married. One of the most bittersweet parts of looking forward to that day is knowing there will be an empty place where I wish my grandma could be. I wish she could see me walk down the aisle, celebrate with us, and be part of one of the most important days of my life.

Alzheimer’s may take away memories and precious moments, but it can never take away the love we shared.

That is why this cause means so much to me. I’m raising funds in her honor to help support Alzheimer’s research, awareness, care, and the hope that one day other families won’t have to experience the heartbreak that Alzheimer’s brings.

Grandma, I hope you know how deeply you are loved, how often you are thought of, and how much a part of me you will always be. I’ll carry you with me on my wedding day, in my happiest moments, and for the rest of my life.
