Help UBS and team - Best Place in Town - reach our goal!

The Best Place in Town is the UBS team that has participated in the Washburn Challenge since it began 10 years ago and has raised an amazing $1.3m since it began.  My team is participating in Washburn Challenge because Alzheimer’s has affected all of us. This June, we will be biking the Shinning Sea Bikeway in Falmouth and kayaking around Washburn Island on Waquoit Bay and then celebrating the success and impact the Washburn Challenge and all its participants have and continues to make to raise vital funding and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association. Together, we will outshine the darkness of Alzheimer’s and illuminate a path towards a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementias!

Why We Participate:

Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States. Over 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s, and over 11 million are acting as their caregivers. 

We are doing what we love to raise funds and awareness to advance research & legislation so we can witness first survivor of Alzheimer’s. 

There has been more progress in the last 3 years then the the previous 30.  Today there are disease modifying drugs available and more hope then ever!  There is no shortage of promising ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. But together, we can help change that. Alzheimer’s touches all of us, and it will take all of us to end it. Please consider participating in or helping me fundraise for this years Washburn Challenge!
