Nana Bette is our beloved grandmother but also our best friend. I'm so grateful that we still get to have her in our lives and that she still has a lot of long term memories intact. But I pray that we will see better treatments or even a cure in our lifetime. Because watching someone as strong, funny, sharp witted, adventurous, and independent as her slowly but surely lose that independence prematurely is devastating for her and everyone who loves her. All roads lead to Nana Bette, forever and always. 💜

Nanna Bette is a rock star

My beautiful Nanna Bette has suffered from Alzheimer's disease for over ten years. Although she has declined in recent years she is still trucking along, following my mom around the east coast and always having something hilarious to say. She is such a loving person and that has not changed at any stage of her disease. Lets raise some money to help do our part to end this terrible disease.
