Dear Pickleball & Mahjong Friends,

I’m reaching out with a request that is very close to my heart.

On Sunday, September 13, my group, Paddles, Pungs & Pals, will be hosting a Pickleball & Mahjong Charity Fundraiser at Dill Dinkers in Columbia to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association – Greater Maryland Chapter.

Like so many of us, members of our group have watched parents, spouses, relatives, and dear friends slowly disappear into Alzheimer’s disease. It’s heartbreaking to see memories fade, personalities change, and families struggle through a journey no one should have to face alone.

While we can’t cure Alzheimer’s ourselves, together we can help fund research, provide education, support caregivers, and bring hope to families who are living with this disease every day.

That’s where I’m hoping our amazing pickleball community can help.

One of the things I love most about our group is the incredible network of talented, generous people we’re surrounded by. 

Many of you own businesses, work for companies that support charitable causes, or have connections with local organizations, restaurants, professionals, and community leaders.

If someone comes to mind, would you consider making an introduction or asking if they’d be willing to support our event?

We’re looking for:

🏓 Court Sponsors – Sponsor one of our 12 pickleball courts and help underwrite the event.

🎁 Silent Auction Donations – Gift cards, experiences, vacation stays, sports memorabilia, pickleball equipment, Mahjong items, services, themed baskets, restaurant certificates, or anything that would make an exciting auction item.

💜 Monetary Sponsorships – Every contribution, large or small, helps us raise more for the Alzheimer’s Association.

🤝 Business Partners – Companies interested in supporting a meaningful community event while receiving recognition for their generosity.

To make sponsoring easy, we’ve created several opportunities:

🏆 Champion Sponsor – $1,000
🏓 Court Sponsor – $200 (Sponsor one of our 12 courts) *includes one free admission
💜 Friend of the Event – $100
🎁 Silent Auction Donor – Any item, service, or experience

Of course, if a business or individual would like to contribute in another way, we’d be incredibly grateful. 

Every donation, every introduction, and every act of generosity helps us make a bigger impact.

Our goal is to create an afternoon filled with laughter, friendly competition, and community while raising as much money as possible for families affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
