TENNIS/PICKLEBALL
Format: Mixed doubles & Men's doubles & Women's doubles. Find your partner in advance or we can place you with one.
Play tennis for 2 hours: 8:00 - 10:00 or 10:00 - 12:00.
Play pickleball for 2 hours: 8:00 - 10:00 or 10:00 - 12:00.
MAHJONG
Format: Tables & tiles will be set up in the CCC clubhouse in the Oak Bar.
Leigh Young will contact you prior to June 6th with details.
Play for as long as you would like: 1-3:30pm
BE A CHEERLEADER!
Come cheer on our players 8-12:00 and/or watch the EXHIBITION at 12:30. Cheerleader Donation: $25.00
COST:
Registration/donation is $50 for a single event however you can play Tennis & Mahjong or Pickleball & Mahjong or ALL 3! If playing more than 1 event, registration/donation is $75.

Our Story
Wednesday 18th FebConnell's Story:
"It reigns confusion" These were the words my mother said when her brilliant mind was failing her. My mother was originally diagnosed with MCI (Mild Cognitive Impairment) she could not name 10 types of cars, she was forgetful and wasn't herself. Over the next 4 years, she suffered from sever aphasia. She could not complete a sentence, could not feed herself and was living alone in a memory care facility. It was heartbreaking to see a successful, articulate, business woman decline in such a humiliating way. I am committed to helping find a cure for all dementia diseases by doing something I love - playing tennis!
I'm honoring my mother, Jacqueline Holmes, who I lost twice. Leigh is honoring her father, Ben Carter.
Louise's Story:
I am committed to helping find a cure for Dementia and Alzheimer’s, with the hope that, in the future, families will not have to endure the terrible “journey” of losing someone to these diseases. My beautiful mother, Harriet, has been in decline for over 14 years. My family’s experience has been like death by a million papercuts, with periods of plateau and periods of stair-stepping grief.
My mom, Harriet, was kind, open, supportive, strong, and funny — truly a beautiful woman inside and out. We miss her every day as we continue on this journey.
I am playing Pickleball and Mahjong, two things I love, to honor my amazing mother and all of the families who are on their own journey. We are so grateful for the support of our communities and for the Alzheimer’s Association’s tireless battle against this disease.
