A Healing Offering in Memory of My Mother
Friday 21st Nov
I recently lost my mother, Patricia McLaurin, to Alzheimer’s disease, and these past years have taught me just how much this illness affects not only those who suffer from it, but the families who love them. Caring for her was an honor, and her kindness, strength, and sweetness continue to guide me every day.
In her memory, I am offering remote Reiki healing sessions as part of my “Do What You Love to End ALZ” fundraiser. Reiki does not treat Alzheimer’s disease, but it can offer emotional ease, grounding, and a sense of peace - support I leaned on often during my caregiving journey.
