This year, I’m hosting a Mah Jongg event on May 20th at the Village Inn in honor of my grandmother, Mary Cutbirth.

She was warmth, strength, laughter, and love all wrapped into one incredible woman. Watching Alzheimer’s slowly take pieces of her was one of the hardest things our family has faced. But even as memories faded, the love she gave never did. It still surrounds us, guides us, and reminds us why this fight matters so deeply.

Even though our Mah Jongg event is almost sold out, this mission goes far beyond one afternoon together. I’m supporting the effort to end Alzheimer’s not just to remember who she was, but to stand up for who she and so many others deserve to be: remembered, honored, and never forgotten.

This cause is deeply personal, it’s for every family navigating this journey, every caregiver giving their all, and every person still waiting for a cure.
