Help me reach my goal for Washburn Challenge!
This June I am participating in the 10th Washburn Challenge- biking 22 miles and kayaking over 7 miles, all to raise vital and funding for the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Over the last several years the Washburn Challenge has raised over $1.2M to go towards research and support for those families facing the challenges of living with Alzheimers. Scientists have made monumental progress in the world of treatment including the first disease-modifying treatments as well as early detection methods. But, the fight is far from over. Today, over 50 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including over 7 million Americans. In the U.S. alone, more than 11 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia, providing over $350 billion worth of unpaid care. We must take action now, as these numbers continue to rise.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease that they are not alone. Please make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those fighting this disease. Thank you!
