Why is this important to me?

Tuesday 7th Apr I have began to better understand what families of Alzheimer's/ Dementia patients go thru as they watch their loved one slip away thru the years of nursing home experience/exposure and for last several years have been that family member/ caregiver, experienceing how this cruel disease began effecting those close to me and I became one of those caregivers for a while and watching first hand how this cruel disease effects everyone. The family members filling caregiver roles are inspiring for their strength and always will be greatful to know both the people I love who have this disease are in good hands.
