When I started reading for the cause I was already midway through The Persian by David McCloskey. I gave it a 4-star rating on Goodreads.

Yesterday I started Julia by Sandra Newman. It is a retelling of George Orwell’s 1984 - same world, different character. I’m about 1/4 of the way in and the story is already captivating! It’s going to be hard to put this book down.
