The Longest Open House is back for 24 straight hours of fun, food, community and fundraising to support the Alzheimer’s Association. Join us October 17 at 6284 85th Ave S in Horace for a full day and night of activities, including a stuffed French toast breakfast, fitness class, family fun, games, wellness activities, an NDSU tailgate, live entertainment, trivia, karaoke and more. Each hour will feature a new sponsor helping us raise awareness, bring people together and make a difference in the fight to end Alzheimer’s.

And we need your help filling the clock!

Want to OWN AN HOUR of the Longest Open House?

Businesses, organizations and community partners can choose an available hour and make it their own. You could:

  • Sponsor an hour
  • Host an activity, game or competition
  • Provide food, coffee or late-night snacks
  • Lead a fitness or wellness activity
  • Bring entertainment or live music
  • Create a family or kids activity
  • Sponsor an hour and let us help create the activity

From 8 AM breakfast to the middle-of-the-night hours and our final countdown, there are opportunities for just about any business or organization to get involved.

The Longest Open House rolls into the afternoon with food, games, movement and activities for all ages.

12:00 PM — Pizza, Protein Tea and Puzzles
Come out to enjoy a Protein Shake, Tea from Northside Nutrition, and Pizza Hut Pizza while relaxing with a brain-teasing puzzle.  

1:00 PM — Family Fun Hour
Games, kids activities, mascots, balloon animals, face painting or something completely different.

2:00 PM — Challenge Your Mind
Puzzles, competitions, trivia or another way to put our brains to work.

3:00 PM — Get Moving
XaBeat, yoga, dance, cornhole or another activity that gets people up and moving.

4–8 PM | Tailgate Time - Saturday, October 17

We're heading into Saturday evening, and the Longest Open House is getting ready for a Bison-sized night.

Tacos? BBQ? Wings? We're looking for someone to help feed the evening crowd and enjoy live music from Grant Brumwell

Trivia, games, competitions or something unexpected.

10:00 PM — Karaoke Hour
Grab the microphone—or sponsor the people brave enough to do it.

11:00 PM — Countdown to Midnight
Desserts, late-night snacks, entertainment or a sponsor-created experience.

Musicians, entertainers, restaurants and creative businesses: this is your part of the night.

We're looking for a few adventurous sponsors to help us make the middle of the night just as memorable as the middle of the day.

1:00 AM — The Night Owl Hour
Coffee, caffeine, snacks or an activity to keep us awake.

2:00 AM — Who's Still Awake?
Gaming, cards, movies, challenges—or bring us your craziest appropriate 2 AM idea.

3:00 AM — The Toughest Hour
This one deserves a special sponsor. How do we keep everyone going?

4–8 AM | Finish Strong - Sunday, October 18

We survived the night. Now we need Fargo-Moorhead to help bring us home.

5:00 AM — Wake-Up Call
Coffee shop, bakery, morning radio or another business ready to wake up with us.

6:00 AM — Sunrise Hour
Breakfast, wellness, movement or a meaningful way to welcome a new day.

7:00 AM — THE FINAL HOUR
This should be special. We're looking for a sponsor to help us celebrate, make one final fundraising push and count down to 24 hours.

At 8:00 AM, we'll officially complete another Longest Open House.

The above event (“Event”) is a third-party fundraiser being held for the Alzheimer’s Association ("Association"). These sponsorships only apply to the Event. 100% of the fee that a donor pays for a listed sponsorship package becomes a non-refundable, direct donation to the Association, for which the Association will issue the donor a receipt. Other than this donation, the donor’s sponsorship of the Event creates no relationship of any kind between the Association and the donor; the Association will provide no goods or services to the donor for the donation.

The Event is not organized, managed or operated by the Association; it is organized, managed and operated by the noted fundraiser. Any recognition, benefits or promotional value associated with a sponsorship package is the sole responsibility of the fundraiser, and questions, arrangements or concerns regarding them are between the fundraiser and donor.
