Momentum for a Cure 🌊💜

Alzheimer’s is often called “The Long Goodbye,” and for those of us who have lived it, we know why. It’s a slow fading—a whisper where there used to be a roar. It steals pieces of our loved ones until they feel like a shadow of themselves. And in that process, it steals a piece of us, too.

When I lost Anin, grief didn’t come in stages; it came in a tsunami. Relief, anger, guilt crashed over me all at once and a quiet, aching sadness remained in its wake. But through the wreckage of that first year, one thing remained standing: Love.

That love didn’t just survive; it grew. It poured in from friends, rippled through the community of caregivers, and ignited a fire in me. That love is now my mission. I’m turning my memories of Anin into momentum for a cure.
