Why I Participate in Do What You Love to End ALZ

I'm participating to honor those fighting the disease, and to remember those we've lost. My husband's grandmother passed away from Alzheimer's in January of 2018, and it was so very devastating for everyone. She was a wonderful mom and grandma, and losing her still leaves a mark even now. My grandmother also passed away from vascular dementia in August of 2018. She was my favorite person, and I miss her every day. I'm also walking in honor of my best friend's mom, Rebecca, who is fighting the disease everyday.
