Come and join my event!

I am doing a two-part “Do Whay You Love to END ALZ “ fundraiser:

1). I will post items on social media that I make on my embroidery machine and take custom orders.  Eighty-five percent or more of the proceeds I make from sales will be donated directly to Alzheimer’s Awareness.  The remaining 10%-15% of sales will be used to offset some of my cost for making the items.
2). I will take a table at the Friday May 15, 2026 Market Day in my community (Del Webb Sweetgrass in Richmond, Texas) and sell pre-made embroidered items (and take custom orders) to raise more money for Alzheimer’s.

My Updates

My experience with Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia

Saturday 14th Mar
Unfortunately, Alzheimer’s hit too close to home with the recent passing of my mother Margie Marchiano.  I felt helpless to do anything for her.  Also, other people I know are dealing with this awful disease or other forms of dementia., and it seems to be becoming even more common in recent years.  On Facebook, I saw a post about a fundraiser “Do what you love to end ALZ”.  I finally realized there was a way I could aid in the fight against Alzheimer’s and use my love for doing machine embroidery in a positive way.  I will be making Alzheimer’s Awareness related items on my embroidery machines and selling them to raise money for Alzheimer’s Awareness and the American Alzheimer’s Association.  I want to honor my mother; good friend Rita Gardell; my daughter-in-law’s grandmother,  Adele Forte; and neighbor, Rich McQueen.
