We lost Rick’s grandmother to Alzheimer’s. It is a brutal disease, especially when it strikes someone as young and vibrant as your mom. Kudos to you for putting your incredible athleticism and heart to work for this important cause. XO

In memory of Alice. I remember what an amazing piano player she was. We always used to tell her she should play professionally, at parties, and she would say, “no, I play just for me.”

You’ve got this! You are simply unbelievable in your athletic pursuits. Your Mom will be running this one with you as she is always in your heart.

I am so sorry you have to go through this and know so many people with the disease. My mom currently is fighting this nasty disease and it is not fun. She’s been in a memory care facility 6 years. It effects everyone.. good luck in your race and I hope someday a cure is found!
