Doing What I Love - Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge 2026
Hello,
My name is Scott Brown, and in August 2026, I'm undertaking the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge, a grueling endurance ride, to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's Association. The Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge is renowned for its demanding nature and its commitment to charity. My personal mission is to honor those affected by Alzheimer's. Starting and ending in Woodstock, Illinois, on August 1st.
Participants face strict rules:
10,000 Miles
No GPS (relying on written directions given minutes before start)
No hotel stays (sleeping by bikes)
Strict time limits (10-20 days to finish)
Adherence to all Rules of the Road.
I am Rider 1051. You can follow my progress and other riders at https://hokaheychallenge.com/ (active July 31st).
I'm dedicating this ride to the Alzheimer's Association due to a deep personal connection; this dreadful disease claimed both my father and my aunt. Witnessing their struggle fuels my commitment. Alzheimer's has impacted millions, robbing individuals of memories and independence. But there's hope, and your donation can help.
Your generous donation empowers the Alzheimer's Association to:
Provide Support: Help families navigate the challenges of caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's.
Advance Research: Fund promising initiatives to understand, treat, and prevent the disease.
Change Lives: Offer comfort, inspire hope, and accelerate the search for a cure.
Your support means the world to me and the more than 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer's and their 11 million dedicated caregivers.
Thank you for considering a donation and joining me in this vital fight. Together, we can make a tangible difference.
