My family's battle with Alzheimer's began before I was born. I never had the chance to know my grandmother because of early-onset Alzheimer's, and decades later, I was by my father's side throughout his fight with the disease. Since losing him in 2017, I've been committed to supporting the Alzheimer's Association-so future families don't have to lose their loved ones twice: once to memory loss, and again to the disease itself.
