Why I fundraise for ALZ!

I fundraise annually in the hopes that the proceeds one day will find a cure for Dementia or Alzheimer.  When my mother-in-law Joyce was originally diagnosed with Dementia, that explained all the memory loss & confusion she was experiencing.  As time progressed, that lead to sadness & outbursts because she couldn't understand why she couldn't remember things, then it just spiraled downhill from there.  It was so hard to see the life just slip away from her.  We lost Joyce to dementia and because of what she and our family experienced, I'm hoping one day there is a cure.  And this is why I fundraise.  One day, just one day I pray there is an end to this disease.
