The "Turn Edmond Purple" Volunteers are fundraising to honor those who have lost their battle with Alzheimer's/Dementia and to support those who currently have the disease and their Caregivers.
"Turn Edmond Purple" was created by ALZ OK Chapter Board Member, Advocate, Support Group Leader, and Volunteer, Herb Magley to honor his late wife Gail who lost her battle with Early Onset Alzheimer's.
This event brings awareness to the Edmond Community, support and resources to Caregivers, and gives individuals and businesses the opportunity to learn more about the disease.
In addition to providing a "moving" information table in downtown Edmond, special activities are planned for each day to give everyone a chance to participate in our fundraising efforts to expand Alzheimer's Research.
We hope you will join us in some capacity as we strive to bring awareness to the community. "Do What You Love to End ALZ"
