Why We Do What We Love to End ALZ
This year the Judy Fund will shine their light on the darkness of Alzheimer’s as a National Team and are excited that the Sigma Alpha Mu No Shave November Campaign will kick off our efforts.
In 2013, the college fraternity adopted No Shave November as its signature fundraising event for The Judy Fund, and now, each year, the Sammys ditch their razors to grow beards, awareness and money for the fight against the disease. So far, they have raised more than $250,000 from this effort alone.
On November 1st, wake up, greet the day with a stubbly smile, throw away your razor, and get growing! For the entire month of November, skipping a shave in support of extra scruff will also be in support of raising awareness for Alzheimer's disease, research, and advocacy.
