MY WHY FOR DOING WHAT I LOVE TO SUPPORT ENDING ALZHEIMERS

In 2021, I lost my mom to the devastating effects of dementia. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to face, because my mom wasn't just my parent—she was my hero, my best friend, and my ultimate guiding light.

She was the person who taught me that kindness and caring for others are the absolute most important things we can do. She truly believed that love and compassion are what make this world a better place to live in, and she lived that truth every single day.

Losing her left a giant hole in my heart, but it also left me with a powerful mission: to carry on her legacy of love and to make sure other families don't have to suffer the way ours did.

That is why I am participating in the Alzheimer’s Association's Do What You Love to End Alzheimer's campaign. I am turning my passion into purpose, honoring the incredible woman who gave me everything, and raising vital funds for Alzheimer's care, support, and research.

Every dollar raised helps move us closer to a world without this disease—a world with more time, more memories, and more moments with the ones we love.
