I'm fundraising for my mom, Shawn Rank
Last fall, my mom, Shawn, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s — a progressive and irreversible disease that gradually affects memory, thinking, and behavior. If you have the pleasure of knowing my vibrant, kind, active, loving, silly, and incredibly strong mom, then you know just how deeply this diagnosis has changed her life and the lives of those who love her.
This year, I’ve committed to raising awareness and funds to support the care, research, and advocacy efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Today, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease, and that number is projected to nearly double by 2050. This disease impacts millions of families.
Every dollar raised helps the Alzheimer’s Association continue its important work to enhance care and support programs while advancing research toward better treatments, prevention, and ultimately, a cure.
Thank you for joining me in the fight against Alzheimer’s and for supporting a cause that means so much to me and my family. Your generosity, encouragement, and support truly mean the world!
