My Updates

6th Annual Climb for a Cause

Tuesday 26th May
For the sixth year, the Springfield Mill is proudly hosting “Climb For A Cause” to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association.

For the entire month of June, the International Paper will donate $1 to the Alzheimer’s Association for every 25 vertical feet of rock climbing OR 100 vertical feet of hiking or biking done by any mill employee. This includes ALL types of climbing: mountain climbing, hiking local buttes, biking uphill, bouldering, and anything that uses human power to gain elevation.

How YOU can get involved!!
Climb on your own time and at your own pace. Document all your climbing efforts. Submit how many feet you climbed, how you climbed it, and when to Miranda Trieston, so we can track the mill progress.

Join other employees and get active together. IP will be hosting a group climbing night at Circuit Bouldering Gym in Eugene on June 23. This event is open to employees and their families. Never tried rock climbing before? Now is your chance! Reach out to Daniel Chrzanowski for details.

Donate Directly. Donate directly to the Alzheimer’s Association at https://events.alz.org/fundraisers/IP-Springfield/climb-for-a-cause.

This is a great opportunity both get a workout and give back to a great cause! If you have any questions about this event, please reach out to Miranda!
