Paint Polk Purple is BACK for a 2nd Year!
Creative art programs for those in memory care, culminating in a beautiful Gallery & Art Sale at our closing event — celebrating each participant’s story while raising additional funds for Alzheimer’s initiatives.
Together, these events will offer education, creative expression, and community-building opportunities that honor those affected by dementia and support the mission to create a world without Alzheimer’s.

Year 3 - Music, Laughter, and Artwork for a CURE

On December 2, 2020 I lost one of the most influential women in my life, My Aunt Darlene; My mother's twin sister. She passed from Corticobasal Syndrome, which is a rare form of Alzheimer's. 

Working in healthcare, it has always been important to me to support research for Alzheimer's however, after losing Aunt Dar, my family and I were on a mission. 

Dar was kind, caring, beautiful, and had the most infectious laugh!  SHE LOVED TO LAUGH ALL DAY! 

She also loved the arts and to hear me sing.  Our 2nd year we added Karaoke & Comedy for the Cause AND an art project, Paint Polk Purple, that highlighted artwork from Memory Care Facilities across Polk County  

This is the 3rd year hosting an event and we are continuing to find new ways to bring awareness, share our message, fundraise and DO WHAT I LOVE TO END ALZ!  

I have been blessed to partner with some amazing likeminded people to help bring several opportunities to Polk County this year.  Events that will blend music, laughter, and artwork with a message that is committed to helping the Alzheimer's Association reach a CURE!

The above event (“Event”) is a third-party fundraiser being held for the Alzheimer’s Association ("Association"). These sponsorships only apply to the Event. 100% of the fee that a donor pays for a listed sponsorship package becomes a non-refundable, direct donation to the Association, for which the Association will issue the donor a receipt. Other than this donation, the donor’s sponsorship of the Event creates no relationship of any kind between the Association and the donor; the Association will provide no goods or services to the donor for the donation.

The Event is not organized, managed or operated by the Association; it is organized, managed and operated by the noted fundraiser. Any recognition, benefits or promotional value associated with a sponsorship package is the sole responsibility of the fundraiser, and questions, arrangements or concerns regarding them are between the fundraiser and donor.
