Why Mill City Supports the Alzheimer's Association

Wednesday 18th Feb

At Mill City Senior Living, we witness every day the incredible strength, resilience, and love shared by individuals living with Alzheimer’s and the families walking beside them. Our community is built around connection—and Alzheimer’s challenges connection in some of the most profound ways. That’s why this cause matters deeply to us.

We are partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association to honor their courage, celebrate their stories, and stand united in the fight for a future without this disease.

We watch families show up day after day with love that never fades.
We see caregivers give their all to bring comfort, connection, and dignity.

These moments—small, tender, and powerful—remind us that while Alzheimer’s can take memories, it cannot take the heart of who someone is.

  • No one should face Alzheimer’s alone.
The Association provides essential resources, education, and support to families who often feel overwhelmed and isolated.

  • Hope matters.
Funding research brings us closer to better treatments—and one day, a cure.

  • Awareness drives change.
We help shine a light on a disease that affects millions but is still widely misunderstood.

Mill City Senior Living is coming together once again in 2026 to celebrate the lives, stories, and spirits of those living with Alzheimer’s and those who love them. Every activity, donation, and act of support is a reminder that we are stronger together—and that love truly outshines the darkness of this disease.

We gather...we fight...and we hope...for our residents, their families, and for a brighter tomorrow!!
