I want to carry your loved ones with me for 18.6 miles. 💜
Friday 13th Mar I want to carry your loved ones with me for 18.6 miles.
As Jon and I train for the Gorge Waterfalls 30K on April 10, I’m fundraising for the Alzheimer’s Association through Do What You Love to End ALZ in honor of my dad, Dan.
I’m opening 30 spots for the 30K on my race shirt.
For a $30 donation, I’ll add:
A loved one’s name to honor or remember
A business supporter nameThey’ll go with me every mile on race day.
Comment or message me the name you’d like added.

Our Why
Monday 6th Oct
My family’s journey with Alzheimer’s began when my dad, Dan McLean, was diagnosed with younger-onset Alzheimer’s at just 50 years old. We lost him seven years later, in June 2016, at the age of 57.
My dad loved to tell us, “We’re so blessed.” He had an adventurous spirit, quiet strength, and incredible sense of humor. He loved his family and community deeply and had a way of making everyone feel seen and loved.
We called him the “baby whisperer” because of his gentle, patient nature and the joy he brought to all five of his grandchildren. He showed up for all of us.
He shaped our lives in countless ways, and we miss him every day. We Do What We Love to End ALZ in his honor — to celebrate the love he shared and to fight for a future without Alzheimer’s.

Christie and Jon, we love you so much and cousin Danny is forever proud of you.
