Competing for a Cause – 2026 IBJJF World Master Jiu Jitsu Championship
On September 5th, I’ll step onto the mats at the Las Vegas Convention Center to compete in the 2026 IBJJF World Master Jiu Jitsu Championship and once again raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of my dad.
Last year, the support from my friends, family, colleagues and teammates was incredible. Together, we raised more than $15,000, and I remain enormously grateful to everyone who donated, shared the campaign, or simply cheered me on.
Over the past year, my dad has continued to inspire me. He is giving it his all, facing Alzheimer’s with strength, perseverance, and an amazing attitude. Watching him take on this challenge has profoundly influenced the way I approach my own, both in training and in life.
My Dad has always had my back. Now it’s my turn to keep fighting for him.
After being promoted to Purple Belt on the medal podium last year, I’m grateful for the opportunity to return to Vegas, face a whole new group of opponents, and give it my all.
