Third Annual Over the Hill Gravel Grinder - June 13th in Horseshoe Bend

The third annual Over the Hill Gravel Grinder will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho. The ride features three different challenging and scenic routes along the Payette River corridor. The Lost River Cycling club will donate all proceeds after expenses to the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Idaho chapter. The ride will start at 8:00 a.m. at Horseshoe Bend High School, 398 School Drive, Horseshoe Bend. 

The three different routes are designed to attract riders of all abilities, from experienced endurance cyclists to beginners. The War Horse route is 84 miles with just over 8,100 feet of climbing. The My Little Pony loop is about 44 miles with an elevation gain of 4,100 feet. Finally, there is the Hobby Horse route, which is 17 miles with 1,200 feet of climbing. All routes will be fully supported with aid stations at key locations along the way. The Locking Horns Riverside Restaurant, 101 Payette River Avenue, will host a fun after-party with live entertainment. 

Registration is now open at BikeReg.com. (bikereg.com/over-the-hill-gravel-grinder-2026) Organizers encourage riders to register early for the best prices. 

All proceeds after expenses go to support the Alzheimer’s Association Do What You Love to End ALZ campaign.
