I am fundraising to honor my mom, Consuelo "Connie" Guerrero, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 1993.
We watched the disease take her memory, causing her to slowly fade away before our eyes, until she passed in 2000.
It has been 25 years since my mom passed, and to honor her memory this year I would like to raise $2,500.
To get started this November my goal is $250 in honor of National Family Caregivers month, since I know firsthand how hard it is to be a caregiver, and would greatly appreciate if you would support my efforts by donating $25 in honor of my mom.
My hope is that sometime in the near future daughters do not have to fundraise for a cure.
