Help me reach my goal for 48 Peaks!
This summer, I'm honoring all those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias by participating in 48 Peaks, a fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Hiking for the Alzheimer’s Association is a cause near and dear to my heart as I hike each year in honor of my late father, Harry. I appreciate you taking the time to look at my page and donate. Any amount matters!
We will be hiking to the summit of one of New Hampshire’s 4,000ft. peaks in the White Mountains This June we will be hiking Mt. Moriah!
We had an amazing team last year as we tackled Mt. Zealand on a less than ideal day weather wise! Despite the howling winds and sideways rain we all had smiles on our faces (well for the most part) and made summit to enjoy a clearing sky and beautiful views on our descent. We celebrated afterwards at RekLis brewery and recounted our adventurous hike! Thankful we survived!!Can't wait to hike again in 2026 with this crew.
We are planning to hike the weekend of June 12th, 13th, 14th, the best weather day wins so pencil it in!! Exact date TBD but it will be one of those three dates.
I am also going to lead a hike on a smaller peak, Mt Cube in Benton NH, most likely the weekend before, on June 6th or 7th, or the weekend following on June 20th or 21st so this amazing event is accessible for friends and family who don't want to do the 10 mile Mt. Moriah hike. Hopefully we can all go to the hiker celebration together on the 13th but the weather gods will have the final say. For those of you who may not have hiked a 4000 footer and are planning to tackle Mt. Moriah with us, please register with the NH Fish and Game website for your Hike Safe card prior to our hike, they are about $25 and review the list of the "Ten Essentials" and pack accordingly!
