Help me reach my goal for 48 Peaks!
This summer, I'm honoring my grandfather and other members of my family affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias by participating in 48 Peaks, a fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association where a team of hikers completes a hike in order to help spread awareness for the cause. Alzheimer’s is near and dear to my heart, and I appreciate you taking the time to donate if you can and if not just taking a few minutes to read about the cause and help spread knowledge so we can find a cure together.
My team be hiking to the summit of Mount Willard in the White Mountains on June 13, with a team fundraising goal of $1000. If you would like to donate please use my personal link provided below.
In the last three years, we have made monumental progress in the world of treatment against Alzheimer’s, including the first disease-modifying treatments. But, the fight is far from over. Today, over 50 million people across the world are living with Alzheimer's, including over 7 million Americans. In the U.S. alone, more than 11 million caregivers generously dedicate themselves to those with Alzheimer's and dementia, providing over $350 billion worth of unpaid care. We must take action now, as these numbers continue to rise.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease that they are not alone. Please make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease. Thank you!
