Help me reach my goal for 48 Peaks!

I AM ONCE AGAIN TAKING TO THE MOUNTAINS OF NH TO RAISE MUCH NEEDED FUNDS FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY ALZHEIMER’S. IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN PERSONALLY TOUCHED BY ALZHEIMER'S IN ANY WAY, TAKE THIS MOMENT TO COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS. IF YOU HAVE, YOU ARE WELL AWARE OF THE DEVASTATION IT CAUSES AND THE URGENCY TO SPREAD THE WORD. 48 Peaks is an Alzheimer Associations fundraising event started in 2015 to honor a good friend who had early onset Alzheimers. Each summer, different groups of hikers- now over 400 hikers, climb their choice of any one of the 4,000 foot mountains in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Every group chooses a peak- there are 48 choices of 4,000 footers! I'm honoring all those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias by participating in 48 Peaks.

I will be hiking with TEAM SISU. We raise funds to advance the care, support and research needed to fight this disease. But we also raise awareness as we ascend the mountain. Hikers stop to thank us and share their Alzheimer stories. They tell us stories of their parents who have been diagnosed, or grandparents, spouses and the caregivers who love unconditionally. Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease that they are not alone. Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only a shortage of dollars. But together, we can help change that. Please make a donation today.
