I'm walking in support of the Alzheimer's association because this cause is deeply personal to me. My mom battled Alzheimer's, and watching her go through that was extremely difficult.
She was the kind of person who always put others first - kind, generous, and always willing to help anyone in need. I made a promise to myself to carry that forward and be more like her.
This walk is one small way I can honor her, support families going through similar journeys, and help move us closer to a world without Alzheimer's.
