My nana is many things but she was also my friend. I had her tour colleges with me. I’d call her when I was mad at my parents. I couldn’t wait to introduce her to my now husband. When I learned how to crochet it made my nana smile and I’ve made her a few things now. It’s a way for us to still connect now that she’s so far away in her own mind. I’m raising money for Nana and those like her to have more connections and more memories in the future.
