Why We Rumble

Our efforts are in honor of our team member Lauren McMullen's grandmother. Helen Hale, the beloved matriarch of the Hale family, epitomizes strength and resilience. As a mother of six, she has provided unwavering support, love, and guidance, embodying a profound work ethic and devotion. Her faith and commitment to the church, where she served as treasurer, provided a strong spiritual foundation for her family, reflecting her leadership and dedication.


Beyond her home church, Helen excelled in sports, playing softball at a semi-professional level. Her athletic prowess and determination were sources of pride and inspiration, instilling in her children the values of hard work, perseverance, and teamwork. Helen's influence extended into her professional life, where she worked diligently at Woolco, The Currency Exchange, and a bank, showcasing her resilience and integrity over a distinguished career.


Helen, one of 10 children, is also a cherished grandmother to 10 grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to 6 great-grandchildren. Her legacy of strength, love, and faith continues to inspire her family and community, embodying the essence of resilience and unwavering dedication.
