My mom has been fighting this horrible disease for a few years now, and I would give anything to go back to the times when we could have a conversation, when I could talk to her and she would talk back, and when she would always say "I love you" right back to me.
I miss those moments more than words can explain. I miss hearing her voice, her responses, and the simple conversations I once took for granted.
I'm grateful for every moment I still get with her, especially the times when she looks at me, responds to me, or says "I love you" back. I hold onto those moments so tightly.
Mom, I love you more than you'll ever know. ❤️
