Come and join my event!

There are moments when movement becomes more than exercise—it becomes hope, connection, and purpose. This workout is one of those moments.

On Saturday, March 14th at 9:00 a.m., I’m inviting you to join me at Beyond Measure Fitness for a special 1-hour group strength training workout dedicated to brain health, community, and the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. This event is open to both members and the general public and will be limited to 35 participants, creating a powerful, intimate experience we’ll share together. We kindly ask you rsvp in message section of your donation if you will be joining us for the workout.

We encourage everyone to wear purple, and during the workout you’ll have the opportunity to fill out a purple heart, dedicating your effort to someone you love or honor. These hearts will be displayed during our time together—a visual reminder of why we’re here and who we’re fighting for.

There will also be:

  • 🎟️ A raffle for an incredible gift basket, with all ticket proceeds going directly to the Alzheimer’s Association

  • 🧠 Resources and information highlighting the powerful connection between exercise and brain health

  • 🌶️ An exclusive Beyond Measure “feelin’ hopeful” pepper button for members who donate and attend—a small but meaningful reminder of the strength we’re building together

Beyond Measure Fitness is also generously offering a special promotion just for this event:

  • When you sign up for a 2 week membership at Beyond Measure ($200) the gym will donate that amount in full to this fundraiser! Incredible! This 2 week membership includes unlimited personal training sessions and an InBody Scan. You're won't want to miss out on being a part of this amazing community!

This gym holds a very special place in my heart. I found Beyond Measure at a time when I was actively searching—not just for a place to work out, but for a place that understood why movement matters. I was looking for strength, consistency, and a way to care for my body and brain during a season shaped deeply by my family’s journey with Alzheimer’s.

What I found was so much more than a gym.

Beyond Measure has already made a profound impact on my life—physically, mentally, and emotionally. It has reminded me that strength is built one choice at a time, that community changes everything, and that taking care of ourselves is one of the most powerful ways we can show up for the people we love.

This workout is about more than lifting weights.
It’s about lifting each other.
It’s about hope.
It’s about honoring those we love.
And it’s about taking a stand for brain health—together.

I would be so honored to have you join me 💜

My Updates

Hope in Motion

Thursday 15th Jan

Alzheimer’s is not something my family talks about in the past tense.
It’s something we are living with—right now.

My mom is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s. She is still active, still loving, and still working incredibly hard to stay independent. But day by day, I see how this disease quietly changes things—short-term memory slipping, familiar tasks becoming confusing, details getting lost. Watching someone you love fight so hard to hold on to what once came easily is heartbreaking.

And this disease has touched more than one generation of my family.

I’ve learned that my great-grandmother, my grandmother, and now my mom have all been affected by Alzheimers. That history led me to ask difficult questions—not just about caregiving, but about riskprevention, and the future.

I chose to undergo genetic testing and learned that I, too, have a higher risk of developing Alzheimer’s. That knowledge wasn’t a death sentence—it was a call to action. It pushed me to take control of the things I can influence: brain health, lifestyle, awareness, and advocacy. It was what lead me to Beyond Measure, and so it only seemed fitting to arrange a fundraiser here. It also strengthened my resolve to speak openly about this disease instead of allowing fear or stigma to keep it in the shadows.

I am participating in Do What You Love to End Alzheimer’s because I’m a mom.

I have a daughter, and I want her future—and the future of her generation—to look different. I want better treatments, stronger support for families, earlier intervention, and ultimately, a cure. I want Alzheimer’s to stop with my mom and not continue on through the generations.

That’s why I work workout and move.

I move for my mom.
I move for caregivers and families navigating this disease every day.
I move for research, education, and support. I move to protect my brain.

And I move because I believe hope grows when we keep moving forward.

I am calling my fundraiser - Hope in Motion—because I am I moving for strength, memory and hope.

If you’re able, I’d be honored to have your support —by donating, sharing this page, or working out alongside me. Your support truly makes a difference.

Thank you for helping turn hope into action. 💜
