My Why

My grandmother was diagnosed with dementia when I was young, and I helped care for her as the disease slowly took pieces of her away. Losing her to dementia shaped me in ways I carry with me every day, and ultimately led me to my calling in Speech-Language Pathology. I’m proud to honor her by supporting others affected by this disease.
