I do what I do because Alzheimer's is not just a disease - it's a thief. It slowly steals memories, independence, and pieces of the people we love most.
For me, this fight is deeply personal. I wear purple and advocate in honor of my stepdad, who is living with Alzheimer's. He is more than his diagnosis - he is someone who helped shape my life, someone who deserves dignity, compassion, and a future filled with hope.
I fundraise and speak out because no family should have to watch a loved one fade without answers, support, or progress toward a cure. Every dollar raised helps provide care, resources for families, and critical research so one day we can end this disease.
This is why I do what I do - for my stepdad, for my family, and for every person and caregiver affected by Alzheimer's.
Together, we can do what we love and help END ALZ.
