3rd Annual Music for Memories Alzheimer’s Fundraiser

The moment is here! I’m so excited to officially share the flyer for the 3rd Annual Music for Memories Alzheimer’s Fundraiser happening on Saturday, August 15th at 7 Locks Brewing in Rockville.
This event is incredibly close to my heart as we come together to honor my dad, Richard, who battled early onset Alzheimer’s. Through Music for Memories, I’m able to combine two things that mean so much to me: my love of music and my commitment to supporting families impacted by Alzheimer’s.
I’ll be joined by two amazing singer-songwriters, Brendan Lane and Annie Stokes, for an evening of live music, community, and giving back.
I would love to see you there! If you’re able to attend, please join us for this special night. If you can’t make it, you can still make an impact by donating or sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and community.
Every share helps us reach more people, and every donation helps support the Alzheimer’s Association’s work providing care, resources, advocacy, and research.

Music for Memories
Monday 2nd MarJoin us for the 3rd Annual Music for Memories, an evening of live music, community, and purpose.
On Saturday, August 15th, we’ll gather at 7 Locks Brewing in Rockville for a special night of performances from Marilyn Hucek and two incredible guest singer-songwriters Brendan Lane, and Annie Stokes. Together, we’ll raise our voices and funds in support of the Alzheimer's Association.
Music for Memories is dedicated to raising awareness and support for those affected by Alzheimer’s, including caregivers and families.
This night is deeply personal to me. We dedicate Music for Memories to my dad, Richard Hucek, my hero, who lived with Alzheimer’s for over a decade. As the years unfolded and words slowly slipped away, music stayed. It lingered where language could not. He would sit at the piano and something in him would light up. A melody could still reach him, still move through him. Music became our way back to each other.
Let’s turn up the volume for the ones we love. Let’s celebrate the power of song to connect, comfort, and carry memory forward.
